SEVERN, Md. — A FedEx delivery driver was assaulted and robbed of packages Thursday afternoon in Severn, Anne Arundel County Police said.
Officers responded to the 7900 block of Carriage Drive at approximately 2:25 p.m. on September 12, 2024, after receiving a report of a robbery. According to police, the 51-year-old driver was delivering packages when two male suspects approached, threw him to the ground, and stole the packages before fleeing in a silver sedan.
The driver sustained minor injuries from the assault and was unable to provide details about the contents of the stolen packages. No weapons were displayed during the incident, police said.
