NEWARK, NJ – The Newark Department of Public Safety is asking for assistance in identifying a female suspect involved in an act of criminal mischief on September 8, 2024.
The incident occurred at around 10:51 p.m. on Norwood Street near Abinger Place, when a woman approached a home, kicked the front door, and cracked the door frame before fleeing southbound.
The suspect is described as a Black woman with long black hair, wearing dark sneakers, jean shorts, and a black long-sleeved shirt. She may have been wearing an ankle monitor and was accompanied by an unknown male.
