One Dead in Two Vehicle Crash in North Versailles

NORTH VERSAILLES, Pa. — A fatal two-vehicle collision in North Versailles on Wednesday evening left one person dead, according to the Allegheny County Police Department.

The incident occurred around 5:33 p.m. at the intersection of Lincoln Highway and Isaac Street. First responders found the driver of a sedan deceased at the scene. The driver of a box truck involved in the crash remained on-site, police said.

Preliminary findings indicate the sedan was traveling eastbound on Lincoln Highway when it crossed the center line and was struck by the westbound box truck.

Detectives from the Homicide and Collision Reconstruction Unit are investigating the cause of the crash. Further details about the identity of the victim or contributing factors to the collision have not yet been released.
