UPPER MARLBORO, Md. — A longtime Maryland Lottery player from Prince George’s County has won his second major Racetrax prize, securing $38,121.90 with a 10-cent Superfecta Box bet. The man, who goes by the nickname “T,” claimed his winnings after the horses he bet on finished in the correct order with a 3X Bonus multiplier.

“T,” a resident of the Greater Upper Marlboro area, made the bet at Xtra Fuels on Marlboro Pike. He wagered that horses 1, 10, 11, and 12 would cross the finish line together in one of 20 races. The winning combination came in the first race, tripling his prize thanks to the Bonus option.

“This win just proves why it’s my go-to game,” “T” said after claiming his prize at Lottery headquarters in Baltimore. The player discovered his winnings using the My Lottery Rewards app and remained composed, confident it was his time to win.

After more than three decades of playing Lottery games, “T” says he plans to use the winnings for a down payment on a house but has no plans to stop playing. His favorite game, Racetrax, remains part of his routine, and he expressed hope for future success.

Xtra Fuels, the retailer where the winning ticket was sold, will receive a $381.21 bonus from the Maryland Lottery for facilitating the big win.
