BRONX, N.Y. — Police are searching for three suspects involved in a robbery that took place on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, in front of 1765 Townsend Avenue. At approximately 1:30 p.m., a 38-year-old man was approached by three unidentified individuals who brandished a knife and forcibly took a package from the victim, according to authorities.
The suspects then fled the scene eastbound on 175th Street on a red moped. The victim was not injured during the incident.
Police have provided descriptions of the three suspects:
- The first individual is described as a male with a light complexion, slim build, and a ponytail. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and black shorts.
- The second individual is described as a male with a medium complexion, heavy build, facial hair, and an afro hairstyle. He was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt.
- The third individual is described as a male with a medium complexion, slim build, and braided hair. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and grey sweatpants.
