SEAFORD, Del. — A traffic stop in Seaford late Friday night led to the arrest of a Bridgeville man on DUI and felony drug charges, according to the Delaware State Police.

Jeremy Ferrell, 41, was pulled over at approximately 11:48 p.m. on Sussex Highway near Concord Road after a trooper observed his vehicle with expired registration tags. During the stop, the officer noted signs of impairment and conducted a series of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests.

After Ferrell failed the tests, he was taken into custody. A search of his vehicle, a black Chevrolet Trailblazer, uncovered 14.53 grams of methamphetamine packaged in seven bags, along with drug paraphernalia, including a digital scale, packaging materials, glass pipes, and cut straws.

Ferrell faces charges of DUI and multiple felony drug offenses. He was transported to a nearby processing center for further legal proceedings.
