NEW YORK — The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual wanted in connection with a sexual abuse incident that occurred early Tuesday morning in the Chelsea neighborhood.
Authorities reported that the incident took place on September 3 at approximately 3:45 a.m. near the intersection of West 26th Street and 11th Avenue. A 28-year-old woman was approached by an unidentified male, who allegedly pulled down her pants and grabbed her buttocks before fleeing on foot.

The suspect fled eastbound on West 26th Street, police said. The victim refused medical attention at the scene, and no further injuries were reported.
The NYPD has released images of the suspect and is urging anyone with information about the individual’s identity or whereabouts to come forward. No further details about the suspect or the ongoing investigation have been provided at this time.
