Gov. Murphy Flees New Jersey to Canada Four 'Economic Mission'

TRENTON, N.J. — Gov. Phil Murphy and First Lady Tammy Murphy will embark on a four-day economic mission to Canada on Saturday, September 7, officials said.

The trip, organized in collaboration with Choose New Jersey, will include visits to three cities. The governor is expected to return to New Jersey on Tuesday, September 10.

During Murphy’s absence, Lieutenant Governor Tahesha Way will serve as Acting Governor. Way is scheduled to deliver remarks at Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman’s &Girls Conference at The College of New Jersey on Saturday afternoon.

The media RSVP deadline for participation in the trip has already passed, according to officials.
