BRONX, N.Y. — The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a sexually motivated burglary that took place in the Bronx earlier this week.
According to police, the incident occurred on Monday, September 2, at approximately 12:50 a.m. in the vicinity of Graff Avenue and Schurz Avenue within the 45th Precinct. An unknown individual entered a private residence through the front door and exposed himself to a 78-year-old woman. The suspect then forcibly touched the victim before fleeing the scene.
The individual also stole the victim’s purse, which contained credit cards, two landline phones, and jewelry. The suspect fled to an unknown location. The victim sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention at the scene.

The NYPD has released images of the suspect and is urging anyone with information regarding the individual’s identity or whereabouts to contact authorities. The investigation remains ongoing.
