Baltimore Police Arrest Five Suspects, Including Juveniles, in Eastern District Carjacking

BALTIMORE, Md. — Baltimore Police arrested five individuals, including two juveniles, in connection with a carjacking in the Eastern District on Sunday evening. The arrests followed an alert from a License Plate Recognition (LPR) system, which detected the stolen vehicle at approximately 5:15 p.m.

MMU detectives tracked the vehicle to the 3400 block of Ravenwood Avenue, where five unidentified males exited the vehicle and attempted to flee. Detectives and responding officers quickly apprehended all five suspects.

Among those arrested were a 15-year-old male, a 16-year-old male, an 18-year-old, a 19-year-old, and a 20-year-old male. All suspects were transported to booking intake facilities for processing.

The investigation into the carjacking is ongoing.
