WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Prince William County Police are investigating two residential burglaries and an act of vandalism reported in recent days.
On August 29, officers responded to a home in the 14000 block of Dan Court in Haymarket. The burglary occurred the previous evening, with the suspect entering through an unsecured rear door. No items were reported missing.
Another burglary was reported on August 28 at the Elevations One Apartments in Woodbridge. The incident took place between June 30 and August 28, with no signs of forced entry. Missing items include jewelry, a mirror, a flat iron, and a hair dryer.
In a separate incident, a swastika was discovered on August 30 inside a bathroom stall at Brentsville High School in Nokesville. The School Resource Officer was notified, and the offensive marking was removed by school staff. The drawing did not contain any threats, and no further vandalism was found.
