Police Search for Gunman in Texas Avenue Incident in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C.— Authorities are investigating a shooting that occurred at approximately 1 p.m. on August 28 in the 4500 block of Texas Avenue in Southeast D.C.

The police have issued a lookout for a black male in his late 20s to early 30s with dreadlocks, wearing a black hoodie sweater.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact the D.C. Metro Police at (202) 727-9099 or text a tip to 50411. A reward of up to $10,000 is available for information that leads to an arrest and conviction. No further details have been released at this time.
