PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — The Philadelphia Police Department’s Central Detective Division is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying suspects involved in a burglary that took place on August 18, 2024, in the 22nd District. The incident occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m. on the 1600 block of North 26th Street.
According to police, the suspects gained entry to the property and stole various items, including appliances, furniture, and fixtures, with an estimated total value of $15,000. The suspects fled the scene in an older model Ford pickup truck, described as light in color with noticeable rust over the left rear wheel well.
Authorities have released a video clip showing the suspects and their vehicle in the hopes that someone from the public can assist in identifying them.
Anyone with information about the suspects or the vehicle is urged to contact the Central Detective Division. Tips can also be submitted anonymously via the department’s tip line.
The investigation remains ongoing as detectives work to locate and apprehend those responsible for the burglary.
