Gunfire in Southeast D.C.: Police Hunt for Armed Suspect

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A shooting in Southeast D.C. left a vehicle damaged by gunfire and a victim hospitalized on Saturday afternoon, prompting a search for the suspect captured on surveillance footage.

At approximately 3:18 p.m., officers responded to a property damage report in the 3400 block of 13th Place, Southeast, and found a vehicle damaged by gunfire. Shortly afterward, a victim with gunshot wounds arrived at a local hospital, conscious and breathing.

The suspect was captured on surveillance footage.
