WILDWOOD, NJ — The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory for Cape May, New Jersey, and Inland Sussex, Delaware. The advisory will be in effect from 6 p.m. Sunday through midnight on Sunday night, with up to one foot of inundation expected above ground level in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.
Expected Impacts:
- Flooding may begin on the most vulnerable roads in coastal and bayside communities, as well as along inland tidal waterways.
- Some roads may experience partial or full closures due to rising waters.
