NEW YORK, NY—A disturbing incident on a northbound “2” train has prompted the New York City Police Department to seek the public’s help in identifying a suspect.
The event took place early on Monday at the 72 Street/Broadway station at approximately 12:18 AM.
An 18-year-old female passenger reported that an unknown male exposed himself and committed a lewd act before fleeing the scene.
The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion, slim build, and facial hair. His attire included a black t-shirt and blue shorts. Notably, he has a tattoo of palm trees on his upper thigh. There were no physical injuries reported from the incident.
The NYPD is urging anyone with information about the suspect or the incident to come forward to assist with the ongoing investigation.
