LINDENWOLD, N.J. — While typically a job for firefighters, Lindenwold Police officers responded to an unusual call last month involving a stuck kitten. Officers Gallegos, Glassman, and Medina were dispatched to rescue a cat trapped in a car engine bay.

Taking extra care, the officers crawled under the car and used gentle coaxing sounds to free the kitten. The rescue was successful, and the kitten was unharmed. The Lindenwold Police Department shared the heartwarming incident on their social media, highlighting the officers’ dedication to all community members, both human and feline.
