BALTIMORE, MD — A Baltimore man who won $50,000 from a Maryland Lottery scratch-off plans to bank his winnings and stay focused on his career.

On Wednesday, the loyal lottery player shared his plans while at Maryland Lottery headquarters. He described scratch-offs as a hobby, with a set daily budget, and emphasized that his finances and job are stable.

“I’m a big advocate of playing scratch-offs,” he said, noting his disciplined approach to the game. His $50,000 win on the $5 “20X The Cash” game is his biggest prize yet, adding to previous wins of $500 and $1,000. He purchased the winning ticket at the 7-Eleven store at 55 Market Place, which will receive a $500 bonus for selling the top-prize ticket.

The game still has three top prizes remaining, along with other prizes ranging from $5 to $5,000.
