Wall Township Police Blotter: Here's What's Happening

WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Wall Township Police Department reported several incidents over the period from July 2 to July 4, 2024, involving arrests for various offenses including driving while intoxicated, obstruction of law, and possession of controlled substances.

On Monday, July 1, Jason S. Posner, 35, of Staten Island, was arrested by Patrolman Tyler Martin for driving while intoxicated on Route 138 near New Bedford Road. He was processed and released under John’s Law. Carlos A. Torres, 27, of Neptune, was arrested by Patrolman Kevin Orender following a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 35. Torres had an active warrant issued by Neptune Township Municipal Court. He was processed and released.

In a separate incident, Lakita T. Gibson, 55, of Manchester, was arrested by Patrolman Chris Roeck for obstructing the administration of the law during an investigation of a dispute at Glen Wall Heights Apartments on 18th Avenue. She was processed and released on a summons. Similarly, Shanae J. Knight, 36, of Belmar, was also arrested by Patrolman John Kelly for obstructing the administration of the law at Glen Wall Heights Apartments on 18th Avenue. She was processed and released on a summons. Almalike R. Faniel, 46, of Wall Township, was arrested by Patrolman Wayne Jackson for obstructing the administration of the law and hindering apprehension during a dispute at Glen Wall Heights Apartments on 18th Avenue. He was processed and released on a summons.

On Wednesday, July 3, Detective Devon Corso arrested Julie A. Rizzitello, 36, of Brick. She was charged with sexual assault, criminal sexual contact, and witness tampering. Rizzitello was processed and transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institution, awaiting a detention hearing on Wednesday, July 10. Daniel S. Ajay, 21, of New Brunswick, was arrested by Patrolman Chris Roeck for driving while intoxicated on Interstate 195. He was processed and released under John’s Law. Additionally, Sean A. Taylor, 47, of Brick, was arrested by Patrolman Alexandra Clayton for driving while intoxicated while checking a suspicious vehicle at 1915 Atlantic Avenue. He was processed and released under John’s Law.

On Thursday, July 4, Patrolman Joseph Antunez arrested Rami Milul, 27, of Fort Lee, for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 35. He was processed and released under John’s Law. Lorenza Smith, 3rd, 25, of Freehold, was arrested by Patrolman T.J. Powers following a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 35. Smith had an active warrant for his arrest issued by Middletown Township Municipal Court. He was processed and released. Jessica M. Francis, 31, of Toms River, was arrested by Patrolman Tyler Martin for driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle stop on Route 138 near Allenwood Road. She was processed and released under John’s Law.

In another incident, Jesus T. Salmoran, 41, of Wall Township, was arrested by Patrolman Kevin Donegan for possession of methamphetamine during a welfare check on a vehicle at Belmar Blvd and Washington Avenue. Salmoran was processed and released on a summons. Davis W. Allen, 28, of Wayne, was arrested by Patrolman Tyler Martin for driving while intoxicated after a car stop on State Highway 35. He was processed and released under John’s Law.
