Police Investigate Multiple Commercial Burglaries in Prince William County

Prince William County, VA – On July 4, officers responded to three separate commercial burglaries in Gainesville and Dumfries, all involving break-ins and theft.

T-Mobile Store Burglary in Gainesville

At 4:47 AM, officers were dispatched to the T-Mobile store at 14074 Promenade Commons St. in Gainesville following an alarm activation. Video surveillance showed two men breaking the front glass door to enter the store. Inside, the suspects smashed glass display cases and stole several phones before fleeing in a grey BMW. Both suspects were dressed in all black clothing and gloves.

Tobacco King and Vape Shop Burglary in Dumfries

At 4:27 AM, officers responded to the Tobacco King and Vape Shop at 17015 Dumfries Rd. in Dumfries after an alarm activation. Surveillance footage revealed an individual breaking the front glass door to enter the store. The suspect stole money from the cash register and various tobacco products before leaving. The suspect was described as wearing a rag on his head, a white t-shirt, white shorts, and black/white tennis shoes.

Tropical Smoothie Burglary in Dumfries

At 3:26 AM, officers were called to Tropical Smoothie at 3978 Fettler Park Dr. in Dumfries for an alarm activation. Video surveillance showed an individual breaking the front glass door to gain entry. The suspect took the till from the cash register and left the scene. The suspect was last seen wearing a rag on his head, a white t-shirt, dark-colored shorts, and dark-colored shoes.
