TOMS RIVER, NJ—A coach for the Toms River East Little League 11u all-star team was ejected from a game against crosstown rivals Toms River East Little League in a high-stakes District 18 tournament game of 10—and 11-year-old baseball players.
The umpire ejected a coach for chirping during Tuesday’s championship game in Berkeley Township.
“You suck,” the coach told the umpire.
“I’ve heard you the whole game, get out, you’re gone,” the umpire said. “Go.”
“I’m going to say it to you again, you suck,” the coach responded. “And you’re ugly too.”
The team lost to their crosstown rivals 8-0 in the game.
