ROXBURY, MA—A 16-year-old male has been arrested by Boston Police for allegedly vandalizing a school in Roxbury. The incident occurred at approximately 12:56 PM on Thursday, in the area of 35 Brookford Street.
Responding to a report of vandalism in progress, officers from the Anti-Crime Unit of District B-2 were dispatched to the scene. Boston Police Operations had provided a description of two males seen spray painting the school’s walls.
Upon their arrival, police found two youths inside the fenced play area of the school, with one matching the description given. Officers discovered fresh graffiti on a wall and a staircase, and a spray paint can was found in the backpack of the arrested juvenile.
The 16-year-old was charged with several counts related to property damage and trespass. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court. The second individual involved was summonsed for trespassing.

BOSTON, MA—A Charlestown resident was arrested Wednesday afternoon on charges related to arson following a fire incident in the area. Katherine Cox, 34, is facing serious allegations after authorities responded to a fire at 4 Meade Street.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:14 PM when Boston Police District A-15 officers and the Fire Investigation Unit were called to the scene. The Boston Fire Department swiftly managed the blaze, while police secured the surrounding area.
Subsequent investigations led to Cox's arrest, where she was found to have intentionally started the fire. Charges against her include Arson of a Dwelling and Burning Personal Property.
Cox is slated for arraignment in Charlestown District Court. The case continues to develop as further details emerge.

WARREN TOWNSHIP, NJ—A motor vehicle accident occurred in Warren Township on Wednesday, involving two vehicles but resulting in no injuries. The incident took place at the intersection of Mt. Bethel Rd. and Hillcrest Blvd. at approximately 1:17 PM.
According to the Warren Township Police, one vehicle, driven by Carlo A. Trujillo, 25, of Warren, NJ, collided with another vehicle that was stopped in traffic. The second vehicle was operated by Rachelle D. Magdaluyo, 35, of Bayonne, NJ.
