Maryland — In a lucky streak for Maryland Lottery players, four tickets each worth $50,000 were claimed or sold last week in various locations including Dundalk, Hyattsville, Mount Rainier, and Silver Spring, contributing to a total of over $26.8 million in prizes awarded statewide.

During the week ending on June 30, the Maryland Lottery reported that 21 tickets valued at $10,000 or more were also sold or redeemed. However, the $50,000 ticket from Hyattsville remains unclaimed as of July 1.

Lottery winners who have won prizes exceeding $25,000 are required to redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Claims Center in Baltimore, which currently operates by appointment only. For smaller prizes, winners can visit any of the more than 400 locations participating in the Expanded Cashing Authority Program (XCAP), where prizes up to $5,000 can be claimed. Tickets worth up to $600 can be redeemed at any Maryland Lottery retail location.
