Philadelphia, PA—A shooting occurred in the 19th District early Sunday morning, near the highway at 22xx N 57th Street. At approximately 12:53 AM, a 46-year-old male was shot twice in the right thigh.
The victim was transported to Lankenau Medical Center by Medic 41 and is currently in critical condition. The scene has been secured, but no arrests have been made, and no weapons have been recovered.
The investigation is ongoing, led by the Special Investigations Group (SIG).
