FREEHOLD, NJ — Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago announced Saturday that Allison Havemann-Niedrach, a 43-year-old teacher at Freehold Intermediate School, has been arrested and charged with engaging in a sexual relationship with a student.
Havemann-Niedrach, who resides in Jackson (Ocean County), faces charges including one count of first-degree Aggravated Sexual Assault and one count of second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The investigation, conducted by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office (MCPO) Special Victims Bureau and the Freehold Borough Police Department, revealed that the alleged misconduct began earlier this year.
Havemann-Niedrach was apprehended without incident earlier this week and is currently held at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution (MCCI). She awaits a first appearance and detention hearing, which will be conducted in Monmouth County Superior Court.
