Surf and Turf Thieves Make Off With $1,500 in Goods From South Jersey Acme

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ – The Gloucester Township Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying suspects involved in a recent shoplifting incident. On June 24, 2024, two suspects were captured on video and in photos taken by the store manager as they shoplifted approximately $1,500 worth of seafood and beef from the Acme Store located on Berlin Cross Keys Road.

The footage shows the suspects filling two shopping carts with bagged shrimp and beef products and then exiting the store without payment. They were confronted by the store manager while loading the stolen items into a white Acura TL with a Virginia temporary tag, which was incorrectly registered to a Ford pickup. A possible third suspect may have been operating the vehicle.
