The company has over a dozen stores in New Jersey, many in rural and suburban communities that for the most part, do not subscribe to the progressive liberal agenda.

For over 85 years, Tractor Supply has emphasized its commitment to serving “Life Out Here,” supported by 50,000 team members in over 2,250 stores nationwide. The company has historically invested in various community projects, including veteran causes, emergency response efforts, animal shelters, and more, alongside significant support for agricultural education through partnerships with FFA, 4-H, and other organizations.
Recent feedback from customers has prompted the company to realign its focus. Key changes include discontinuing the submission of data to the Human Rights Campaign and refocusing its Team Member Engagement Groups on mentoring, networking, and direct business support. The company will also cease sponsorship of non-business activities such as pride festivals and voting campaigns, eliminate DEI roles and goals—though maintaining a respectful workplace environment—and withdraw from carbon emission targets to concentrate on land and water conservation.
