PHILADELPHIA, PA—The Philadelphia Central Detective Division is requesting the public’s help to identify a suspect involved in a shooting incident that occurred on June 23, 2024. The event took place around 10:20 PM on the 2200 block of North 16th Street, following an argument between the suspect and the complainant.
According to police reports, after the dispute, the complainant entered his car when the suspect discharged a handgun several times, striking the vehicle. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 6’0″ tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a “Flyers” hat, a white tank top, blue jeans, and white sneakers.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the suspect or the incident to come forward and assist in the investigation. This information will be crucial in apprehending the individual responsible and preventing further incidents.
