Louisville, OH—Robin Jumbe is thrilled after winning the $150,000 top prize in the Ohio Lottery Scratch-Off game, $150,000 Blast.

Robin purchased her winning ticket at Acme Fresh Market, located at 3979 Medina Rd in Akron. She bought several scratch-offs, went home, and discovered her big win while scratching the tickets.

Robin, who has been playing scratch-offs for 10-15 years, often winning smaller amounts, was ecstatic. “I got maybe 5 or 6 scratch-offs out of the machine or whatever. You know, went home, relaxed, scratched the first scratch-offs and was like, ‘oh my god’.”

After discovering her win, she called her aunt, with whom she frequently plays scratch-offs, to share the exciting news. “She’s freaking out,” said Robin.

Robin will receive approximately $108,000 after mandatory state and federal taxes totaling 28 percent. She plans to use her winnings to pay some bills and boost her retirement savings.

The $150,000 Blast is a $5 scratch-off game with a top prize of $500,000. As of June 25, five top prizes remain, along with other great prizes.
