STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office reported multiple assault incidents in their daily incident log for Sunday, highlighting a series of disturbances requiring law enforcement intervention.
On Friday at 8:22 AM, deputies responded to a disturbance at Noble Court where a female suspect reportedly used bear spray during a heated argument, resulting in felony injury charges for her use of a caustic agent, alongside disorderly conduct. She is currently held at Rappahannock Regional Jail with a bond set at $2,500.
Later that day, at Falmouth Beach around 3:48 PM, a verbal altercation escalated into a physical assault when two sisters misunderstood a comment and attacked another beachgoer. After attempting to escape by swimming across the river, both were apprehended by deputies. One sister faces assault and battery charges with a $1,000 bond, while the juvenile sister received a criminal complaint.
Another assault occurred on Saturday at 11:22 PM at a local Giant supermarket on Celebrate Virginia Parkway, involving an employee and her manager. The dispute led to the manager striking the employee with a shopping cart. The manager was charged with assault and battery and subsequently released by the magistrate.
