SEASIDE HEIGHTS, NJ — Seaside Heights hosted its inaugural Pride event on the boardwalk this past weekend. The festivities began on Friday and continued into a vibrant Saturday with various activities.

The event started Saturday morning with yoga sessions on the boardwalk, followed by energetic Zumba classes. These morning activities set a lively tone for the day’s celebrations.

Later in the day, a drag brunch took place at Drifters. This event was immediately followed by a Pride parade, which saw participants march from the restaurant down the boardwalk, adding color and excitement to the scenic route.

Throughout the day, live music and DJ performances entertained the crowd from a stage located at Franklin Avenue. The diverse lineup of artists contributed to the festive atmosphere, drawing attendees from all walks of life.

The celebration concluded on Saturday night with a beach bonfire. The evening ended at the Seaside Social House with a “loud and proud” nightcap, marking a successful conclusion to Seaside Heights’ first-ever Pride event on the boardwalk.

About 50 or so marchers lead the parade down the boardwalk.
