Multiple Traffic Incidents and Construction Updates Impact New Jersey Roads
TEANECK TWP, NJ – As of 8:40 AM, emergency construction and a water main break on the I-80 express lanes have resulted in the closure of one left lane west of Exit 68 – New Jersey Turnpike/I-95.
MOUNT ARLINGTON, NJ – Earlier this morning at 7:49 AM, a jack-knifed tractor trailer on I-80 eastbound at Exit 30 – Howard Blvd led to the closure of one right lane.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ – A crash and a downed utility pole have partially blocked the northbound entrance ramp to the Larry Doby Service Area on the Garden State Parkway since 3:05 AM.
ROXBURY TWP, NJ – Traffic delays are ongoing on I-80 eastbound from just west of Exit 28 – CR 631/US 46 to west of Exit 30 – Howard Blvd, with current travel times ranging from 10-15 minutes as reported at 7:57 AM.
PATERSON, NJ – Construction work on I-80 westbound west of Exit 57 – NJ 19 has closed the right shoulder, expected to continue until 4:00 PM today.
PARSIPPANY-TROY HILLS TWP, NJ – On I-80 eastbound, construction west of Exit 47A – I-280 has also resulted in a closed right shoulder until 4:00 AM.
WOODBRIDGE TWP, NJ – Long-term road construction on the US 9 southbound ramp to CR 514/Main St has all lanes closed until July 28, 2024.
NORTH BERGEN TWP, NJ – A new traffic pattern has been established on US 1&9/Tonnelle Avenue north of Secaucus Rd due to the Tonnelle Avenue Bridge and Utility Relocation Project.
NEWARK TO JERSEY CITY, NJ – The Pulaski Skyway is closed in both directions from the US 1&9 Truck Route/Raymond Blvd to Tonnelle Circle, with all traffic being detoured until 5:00 AM on June 23, 2024.
PERTH AMBOY, NJ – On NJ 35 northbound at the NJ 440 Connector, all lanes are closed with two-way traffic shifted to the southbound roadway indefinitely.
