The Delaware State Police are currently investigating a robbery that occurred at the Sunglass Hut kiosk inside the Macy’s at Concord Mall in Wilmington. The incident, which escalated from a shoplifting, took place on June 17, 2024, at approximately 5:40 p.m.
According to the investigation, five unknown suspects approached the kiosk and seized several pairs of eyeglasses. As they attempted to leave the store with the unpaid merchandise, they were confronted by an employee. During the altercation, one female suspect dropped a bag of stolen eyeglasses and used pepper spray against the employee. The group then escaped in a silver sedan with the remaining eyeglasses.

State troopers, through investigative efforts, have identified one of the suspects as Itaijiyah Clark and have issued warrants for her arrest. However, Clark remains at large, and the other four suspects, described as black females, have not been identified. Surveillance footage or images of the suspects and their vehicle have not been released at this time.
Itaijiyah Clark is wanted on several felony charges. The Delaware State Police urge anyone with information about this incident or the whereabouts of the suspects to come forward to assist with the ongoing investigation.
