NEW YORK, NY – Police are investigating an attempted robbery that occurred on the evening of Monday, June 10, 2024, in the Bronx. At around 10:13 PM, two unidentified males approached a 22-year-old man near the intersection of Bruckner Boulevard and Watson Avenue, attempting to forcibly steal his cell phone.
The assailants, described as being around 20 years old, with medium complexions and slim builds, both approximately 5’ 6” tall, were unable to secure the victim’s phone and subsequently fled the scene. They were last observed heading northbound on Stratford Avenue, dressed in dark-colored clothing.
Fortunately, the victim did not sustain any injuries during the encounter. However, the suspects remain at large, and the NYPD is seeking assistance from the public to identify and locate these individuals.
