- Video of Allegedly Drunk New Jersey Governor Making Rounds Again on X
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ - A video of New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy is going viral after a video of a typical night in an Atlantic City casino for most was highlighted due to his position. The cameraman behind the video claimed the governor was "tuned up".
After approaching the governor, the poster was approached by a plain-clothed New Jersey State Trooper who began threatening the photographer with being arrested for filming the governor inside the casino.
The video, which was filmed in February of 2023 at the Hard Rock Cafe casino, is making rounds again this week on X, formerly Twitter. The governor's office has never addressed or responded to the video and while the narrator claims the Governor was drunk, there is no way to verify the claim.
During the video, the cameraman heckled the governor and was repeatedly threatened by the governor's State Police security detail.
Initially, the video was only seen 10,000 times when published, but it is now becoming viral on the Elon Musk-owned platform this weekend. The governor, an adult over the age of 21, even if drinking violated no laws and was doing what pretty much most New Jerseyans do when visiting Atlantic City.
