Philadelphia, PA — The South Detective Division is attempting to identify two males involved in a residential burglary on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. on the 2900 block of South Juniper Street.
During the incident, the first suspect knocked on the complainant’s door, claiming to be from a construction company sent by a building inspector to check the rear deck. The complainant allowed the suspect inside and escorted him to the rear deck, where they conversed for approximately 5-10 minutes. Meanwhile, the second suspect entered the house and proceeded to the second-floor front bedroom, stealing assorted jewelry. No threats or force were used against the complainant. Both suspects left on foot, heading northbound on Juniper Street.
Suspect Descriptions:
- Suspect #1: Black male, 25-35 years old, 5’10” – 6’1”, heavy build, 220-240 lbs., light brown complexion, dark colored baseball hat, black shirt over a white shirt, and blue jeans.
- Suspect #2: Black male, unknown age, 5’8” – 6’1”, medium build, dark-colored hat, black jacket, and blue jeans.
