Delaware State Police Seek Witnesses in Dover Shooting

Dover, DE – Delaware State Police are requesting witnesses for a shooting that occurred on Sunday night in Dover.

On June 16, at approximately 11:20 PM, troopers responded to a shooting on Palmer Road. They found a 36-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his thigh and provided medical aid. The victim was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The initial investigation revealed that the victim was walking on Palmer Road when an unknown suspect shot him from an unknown location. Delaware State Police Troop 3 Criminal Investigations Unit is continuing the investigation and urges anyone with information to contact Detective M. Keane at (302) 698-8442.
