Middletown, PA – A Pennsylvania Lottery player from Philadelphia won a $100,000 prize with a Powerball® with Power Play® ticket purchased online for the Wednesday, June 12 drawing.
The winning ticket matched four of the five white balls drawn (19-30-31-61-62) and the red Powerball® (21). With the Power Play® multiplier of two, the prize doubled from $50,000 to $100,000.
Winners are only known once prizes are claimed and tickets validated. Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball® winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes. Tickets bought at retailers should be signed immediately. Online winnings appear in the player’s account after processing. For more information on filing claims, visit palottery.com.
Over 19,000 other PA Lottery Powerball® tickets won various prizes in Wednesday’s drawing, including more than 3,900 tickets with Power Play® and over 2,600 with Double Play®. Players are encouraged to check every ticket.
The Powerball® jackpot has now risen to an estimated $34 million, with a cash option of $16 million, for the next drawing on Saturday, June 15.
