BOSTON, MA – Boston Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at approximately 11:17 PM on Friday, May 31, at 36 Edson Street in the Mattapan district. Upon arrival, officers discovered 27-year-old Pereshah Shear-Yashub from Taunton suffering from gunshot wounds. She was urgently transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced deceased.

The Boston Police Department is currently reviewing all relevant details surrounding the incident and is appealing to the public for any information that could assist their ongoing investigation.
