JERSEY CITY, NJ – Mayor Steven M. Fulop, together with the City Council, the Office of Cultural Affairs, and the Exchange Place Alliance, is thrilled to announce a grand Fourth of July celebration featuring Grammy Award-winning artist Wyclef Jean as the headliner. The event will kick off with performances by renowned artists Fat Joe at 7 p.m. and DJ Funk Flex at 6 p.m. The evening will be capped off with a spectacular fireworks display by Fireworks by Grucci starting at 9:25 p.m. over the Hudson River.

This annual event has evolved into a regional highlight under Mayor Fulop’s stewardship, promising an unforgettable day filled with music, family activities, and community spirit in celebration of America’s independence. The festivities will commence at noon with offerings from popular food trucks, engaging activities for families, and performances by local talents from Jersey City, setting the stage for the headline acts.

Christine Goodman, Director of Jersey City’s Office of Cultural Affairs, expressed pride in featuring local artists who will perform before an expected crowd of over 100,000 attendees from the tri-state area. Following the performances, the fireworks show, orchestrated by the Guinness World Record-holding Grucci, will illuminate the sky from two barges on the Hudson River.

The event is supported by the Jersey City Night Market, managed by MMFB Productions, which will line Montgomery Street with vendors offering a variety of food and local crafts.
