PHILADELPHIA, PA — A shooting incident early this morning in the 39th District resulted in injuries to two males. The incident occurred at 12:18 AM at the intersection of Ridge and W Lehigh Avenues.
A 19-year-old male suffered a gunshot wound to the neck, and a 16-year-old Black male was shot in the left thigh and left buttock. Both victims were transported to Temple University Hospital, where they are currently listed in stable condition.
No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, and no weapons have been recovered at the scene. The Philadelphia Police Department’s Shooting Investigation Group is actively handling the ongoing investigation. Further details will be released as they become available.
