QUEENS, NY — A grim scene unfolded on Saturday night in Queens, where a shooting claimed the lives of two men and left a woman injured. Police responded to a 911 call at around 10:30 PM at 94-42 111 Street, within the 102nd Precinct.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 52-year-old female with a gunshot wound to her torso and 27-year-old Vipanpal Multani, who was found unconscious and unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds. Vipanpal was pronounced dead at the scene. The female victim was transported to Jamaica Hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
In a related incident nearby at 109-09 96th Avenue, 33-year-old Karamjit Multani was also found deceased with a gunshot wound to his head. A firearm was recovered next to his body. EMS pronounced Karamjit dead at the scene.
The relationship between the victims and the circumstances leading to the shooting are under investigation. No arrests have been made as authorities continue to piece together the events that led to this tragic incident.
