Boston Man Arrested on Murder Charges

BOSTON, MA – Triston Jules, a 37-year-old resident of Mattapan, was arrested by the Boston Police Fugitive Unit on Tuesday afternoon. Jules was apprehended in the area of Talbot Avenue and Whitfield Street and is charged with the murder of George Deeble, a 42-year-old Dorchester resident.

The incident leading to the arrest occurred on the morning of Saturday, April 27, when Boston Police responded to a shooting at the intersection of Blue Hill Avenue and Fremont Street. Deeble was found with life-threatening gunshot injuries and was later pronounced dead at a local hospital after being transported by Boston EMS.

Jules is now awaiting arraignment at Dorchester District Court, facing murder charges filed by the Suffolk Superior Court. The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit continues to investigate the murder, examining all relevant facts and circumstances.
