Safe and Sound, Elderly Labrador Rescued and Waiting for Owner at AHS Popcorn Park

BARNEGAT, NJ—An elderly, neutered Labrador was found this Sunday morning in a rural part of Barnegat. The dog appeared very weak, dirty, and disheveled, necessitating immediate care.

He wandered up to a local residence on Warren Grove Road, where concerned citizens contacted AHS Popcorn Park. Unfortunately, the Labrador was not microchipped and lacked any form of identification, making it difficult to locate his owner.

AHS Popcorn Park is currently caring for him and urges anyone who recognizes this dog to come forward. Potential owners should contact them via email at office@ahsppz.org or call 609-693-1900.

Proof of ownership will be required to reclaim the dog. If not claimed, the Labrador will be eligible for adoption after the completion of his mandatory stray hold.

Community members are encouraged to share this information to assist in reuniting the dog with his family.
