PHILADELPHIA, PAPolice responded to a call for backup at a car meet-up on the 500 block of Adams Ave on Saturday at approximately 7:42 PM. An officer found themselves encircled by a large crowd, prompting immediate support from additional units. The event drew roughly 200 attendees and featured about 100 vehicles.

During the incident, a juvenile blocked a police car by standing in front of it and gesturing defiantly.

This escalated as he attempted to flee in a gray Infiniti G35 with two accomplices when more police arrived. The vehicle was trapped in the congested lot, hindering their escape.

Authorities successfully detained the juvenile after a brief foot chase. The Infiniti was impounded, and its three occupants were arrested. They face multiple charges including Criminal Conspiracy and Disorderly Conduct.

The identified offenders are Alex Collins, an 18-year-old from Honey Brook, and James Campitelli, a 19-year-old from Douglasville. A 16-year-old was also involved; his name has not been disclosed due to his minor status.
