STAFFORD, VA — A 23-year-old Maryland man, Jaiden Riddick, faces multiple charges after his recent arrest by Stafford deputies. Riddick was wanted in Fredericksburg for serious offenses including abduction, malicious wounding, preventing the summoning of law enforcement, and fleeing from law enforcement.
On May 29, just before noon, deputies located Riddick at a strip mall on the 3600 block of Richmond Highway. After attempting to evade capture by hiding in the back seat of a vehicle, Riddick was discovered and detained by Deputy S.M. Craig. He initially provided a false identity but was quickly identified.
In addition to being served with his outstanding warrants, Riddick also received a new charge for providing a false identity to law enforcement. He is currently being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
