BRICK, NJ — A significant narcotics distribution investigation in Ocean County has culminated in the arrest of 40-year-old Brandon O’Shea of Brick Township. Announced by Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer, the operation was a collaborative effort involving multiple law enforcement agencies.

Over the course of a two-month investigation, detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force, along with the Brick Township Police Department Street Crimes Unit, Patrol Division, and the Point Pleasant Borough Police Department Detective Bureau, focused on a residence used by O’Shea to store and distribute cocaine and marijuana.

The arrest occurred on May 9, 2024, after detectives conducted both stationary and mobile surveillance at O’Shea’s residence. He was observed leaving the residence, entering his vehicle, and was subsequently stopped and detained by officers from the Brick Township Police Department without incident.

A court-authorized search warrant executed at the residence led to the seizure of significant quantities of drugs, including approximately 100 grams of cocaine, 80 grams of methamphetamine, eight grams of heroin, over five pounds of marijuana and THC products, and $333,000 in cash.

O’Shea faces multiple charges, including possession with intent to distribute various substances, possession within 1000 feet of a school, and financial facilitation of criminal activity. Despite the severity of the charges, O’Shea was released from the Ocean County Jail due to New Jersey Bail Reform guidelines.
