Tallahassee Resident Claims $1 Million Lottery Prize

TALLAHASSEE, FL – Anita Ervin, a 61-year-old from Tallahassee, has claimed a $1 million prize from the Florida Lottery’s $5,000,000 CASHWORD Scratch-Off game. Ervin opted for a one-time, lump-sum payment totaling $780,000.00 during her visit to the Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.

Ervin’s winning ticket was purchased at Fair Price Food Store, located at 440 East Paul Russell Road in Tallahassee. The store benefited as well, earning a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the lucky Scratch-Off ticket.

The $5,000,000 CASHWORD Scratch-Off game offers players a $20 ticket with the chance to win part of the over $239.6 million in total cash prizes. The game features more than 5.4 million winning tickets, with overall odds of winning set at 1-in-2.91.
