Major Bust in Baltimore Leads to Large Amount of Narcotics and Guns

BALTIMORE, MD – In a pre-dawn operation on May 22, Baltimore Police Department’s Southern District DAT detectives conducted a series of raids that led to significant seizures and multiple arrests.

The investigation culminated in the execution of search and seizure warrants across six houses and three vehicles in various locations, including the 2400 block of Rye Avenue, the 2000 block of Griffis Avenue, and two houses in Ann Arundel County on Dorchester Cover Road. The operation resulted in the recovery of a loaded semiautomatic rifle, four handguns equipped with extended magazines and drums, a large quantity of suspected marijuana, and a substantial amount of US currency.

Four men, aged 26, 34, 25, and 23, were arrested during the raids. They have been transported to CBIF (Central Booking Intake Facility) for processing. The successful operation highlights the ongoing efforts by local law enforcement to combat drug distribution and illegal weapons possession in the region.
