NORTHVILLE, MI—Tenneco, a business specializing in automotive product design and manufacturing, announced the appointment of former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie to its Board of Directors, effective May 30, 2024.
The company said that the strategic addition aims to leverage Governor Christie’s extensive governance experience to further Tenneco’s growth and success.
Governor Christie, who served as the 55th Governor of New Jersey from January 19, 2010, until the end of his second term, the firm believes, brings a wealth of leadership experience to the board. He secured re-election in November 2013 with 60% of the vote and has been a Republican Presidential candidate in both 2016 and 2024.
